Now it is official. With the Realme X, the independent Oppo brand presents its highest-quality mobile phone – with a frameless display and pop-up camera. In addition, the company announced the Realme X Lite.
Features of Realme X
The Realme X comes with an optical fingerprint scanner in the 6.5-inch AMOLED display and has no notch. Even with this new smartphone, the selfie camera is in an extendable mechanism and comes only then driven by engine power to the fore when activated.
The device is powered by the 10nm Snapdragon 710 chipset , which supports 4, 6 or 8 GB of RAM. You can choose between a 64 or 128 gigabyte phone. The battery is slightly smaller with 3.765 mAh than the Realme 3 Pro and can be brought back to 55% charge in 30 minutes using VOOC Flash Charge 3.0.
As operating system comes Android 9 Pie under the coat of Color OS in the newest version 6.0 to the employment.
One of the main selling points of the Realme X will be the new cameras. On the back are the main camera with 48 MP f / 1.7 and a 5 MP f / 2.4 depth sensor, which are arranged vertically one above the other.
The selfie camera is designed as a pop-up camera and consists of a sensor with 16MP and a f / 2.0 aperture. The 48 MP main camera contains the Sony IMX586 sensor , which can already be found in many devices today, such as the new Oneplus 7 Pro or the Huawei Honor View 20 .
The sensor uses the so-called pixel binning to combine four pixels into 12-megapixel images. For the main camera are all sorts of clever software tricks such as Chroma Boost, scene detection by the AI, night mode and various portrait styles ready. The 16MP selfie camera comes with a beauty mode that also works for groups of people.
The Realme X is available with its plastic casing in Steam White (white-rose) or Punk Blue (blue-purple gradient).
